What exams are included in the certifications?

All applicants applying for NCCAOM certification in Acupuncture certification are required to pass 3 exams:

• Acupuncture with Point Location 
• Biomedicine 
• Foundations of Oriental Medicine.  

All applicants applying for NCCAOM certification in Chinese Herbology certification are required to pass 3 exams:

• Chinese Herbology 
• Biomedicine 
• Foundations of Oriental Medicine.  

Applicants applying for NCCAOM certification in Oriental Medicine certification are required to pass 4 exams:

• Acupuncture with Point location 
• Biomedicine 
• Foundations of Oriental Medicine 
• Chinese Herbology
