Why don’t I see PDA points for completed courses on my NCCAOM account?
FollowSince May 1, 2020, PDA/CEU points for PDA approved courses are reported directly to the Diplomate’s NCCAOM® Recertification Transcript by PDA Providers. Courses with multiple recertification categories are reported in each category separately to allow proper calculation of total PDA Points completed.
The success of this CE Reporting process depends on multiple factors. Below are several scenarios that may result in failure of the PDA/CEU reporting operation.
- First Name, Last Name, and NCCAOM ID# entered by a Diplomate at course registration do not match exactly the First Name, Last Name, and NCCAOM ID# as it appears in the NCCAOM Certification database. PDA/CEU points for an approved course will not be reported to the Diplomate’s Recertification Transcript.
- A Diplomate does not have an open recertification cycle. NCCAOM recertification cycle is a 4-year period and cannot be altered nor do PDAs/CEUs carried over to the next cycle.
- Former Diplomates in terminated status do not have an open recertification cycles, therefore, all courses for reinstatement have to be reported manually.
- Active Diplomates who recertified in advance. Recertification application is available a year (365 days) in advance of Diplomate’s certification expiration date. When a Diplomate recertifies early, their expiration date is moved out 4 years from the previous expiration date creating several months gap before new recertification cycle starts. See image below:

General advice not to take courses until recertification cycle opens up. See image below.
