I have just renewed my certification, when can I start to earn points towards my next recertification?
NCCAOM Diplomates have to recertify every four years to keep their certification active. Each Diplomate has a "four-year recertification cycle" attached to each certification held. All course work (60 PDA points) must be completed within the recertification cycle.
In the example image below, the recertification cycle for OM certification starts on 09/17/2021 and ends on 08/31/2025. This particular Diplomate must complete all 60 PDA points between 09/17/2021 and 08/31/2025.
